Mr. Dutia is a seasoned healthcare executive who has fostered innovation and entrepreneurship for over 20 years. In addition to his role as an outside independent director of Citius Pharmaceuticals since 2014, Mr. Dutia has been serving as director of Flint Rehab and Vahan Inc. since 2016. He has been a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for Digital Transformation at the University of California, Irvine since 2014. Previously, Mr. Dutia served as Senior Fellow of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation from 2011 to 2016 and authored papers on topics such as Diasporas networks, AgTech and Startup boards. From 2006 to 2010, Mr. Dutia served as the Chief Executive Officer of TiE Global, one of the largest non-profit organizations involved in advancing entrepreneurship. From 2011 to 2013, Mr. Dutia served as a director of LifeProof (acquired by OtterBox), and from 2000 to 2011, he served as a director of Anvita Health (acquired by Humana Inc.). From 1989 to 1998, Mr. Dutia served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Xscribe Corporation. Prior to his leadership role at Xscribe Corporation, Mr. Dutia held several senior management positions with Dynatech Corporation.
Mr. Dutia received his BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering and BA in Political Science from Washington University, St. Louis. He holds an MBA from the University of Dallas.
